Our position at triangle in a circle at noon today. It is partly cloudy and 57F. Getting a good ride here in the Gulf of St Lawrence. A week from today we will be flying back to Dallas.
LAST EVENING
My escargot Rebecca's shrimp cocktail
We both had the bourbon marinated black Angus strip sirloin with baked potato.
Key lime pie
No show tonight, just a dance party in the atrium. So we went to our suite. They showed the Reskins/Packers NFL game on the tv last night. Clocks moved ahead one hour last night.
TODAY
Lazy morning. Rebecca did not do the treadmill again today as she still has a cold and is stuffy. I was just plain lazy.
Little piece of a chicken thigh and some lasagna for lunch. Ok, couple slices of pizza too.Executive Chef John and Sous Chef Lili. There were 22 of us invited for a tour of the galley at 4:35.
This is the "cold" kitchen area where salads and cold foods are prepared.
Clean dishes out of the dish washer.
Where soups and sauces are cooked.
Fish cooked on right side and meats on the left.
Room service area
Lots of room service coffee pots. Very interesting tour.
This evening we have been invited to the Seven Seas Society cocktail party at 5:45 in the theater. Following it at 7:00, we have been invited to dine with Bea Kessler, Cruise Consultant and in charge of the Seven Seas Society on board. We have known and cruised with her several times.
Seven Seas Society night menu is always our favorite. Miso glazed sea bass!!! So yummy! I have ordered another bottle of the Rombauer chardonnay for tonight. Tonight's show is "Broadway in Concert" featuring the production cast singers. We saw this show last segment but will probably go again.
Our arrival time at Sydney, Nova Scotia, is 11:30am tomorrow.
